Celebration scheduled to welcome back Sugar Bowl champions

LOUISVILLE (WAVE) - A party is planned to welcome home the 2013 Allstate Sugar Bowl champion University of Louisville Cardinals.

The football team is scheduled to return from New Orleans at 3:30 p.m. Thursday and fans are encouraged to welcome them back by meeting at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Fans can park near gates 1 and 2 and gather between the Howard Schnellenberger Football Complex and the Trager Indoor Practice Center on the north end of the stadium.
