LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police said a man held up four banks in a two-week period and was caught on surveillance cameras, but Thursday the suspected serial robber pleaded not guilty.

U.S. Marshals arrested Robert Scott Manley, 49, Wednesday at an apartment off of Poplar Level Road.

Police said Manley robbed banks all over Louisville. The first hold up was December 20 at the PNC on Taylorsville Road, then Chase Bank on New LaGrange Road on December 24.  Surveillance photos picked up Manley December 27 at the BB&T Bank on Dixie Highway and on New Year's Eve police say he robbed the River City Bank at 2501 Bardstown Road.

Manley's roommate said he thinks the robberies were to support a drug addiction.

Marshals said Manley recently violated his supervised release on federal fraud charges.

In addition to robbery charges, Manley is also facing 2nd degree rape and sodomy charges in Nelson County.
