LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - James White hit back-to-back jumpers within a 25-second span to give his team control midway through the second half and scored on a dunk with 3:03 left to open up a 9-point advantage, sparking UALR to a 75-67 victory over Western Kentucky on Thursday night.
Leroy Isler scored 13 points and came up with four steals for UALR (9-7, 3-2 Sun Belt). Michael Javes scored 11 points and Ben Dillard had 10.
Western Kentucky (10-6, 4-1) got 18 points from Brandon Harris and 10 points from Teeng Akol.
UALR had lost three straight games and four of its previous five. The Trojans now are 8-1 at home this season.
