LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police have made an arrest in one of the final murder cases of 2012.

Early Friday, detectives arrested Yasmani Rivera-Amoros, 20, of Louisville. He was wanted for the December 29 shooting death of Eston Graver at an apartment building on East Kingston Ave.

Graver, 21, was shot in the torso and died at the scene.

In an interview with WAVE 3 shortly after her son was killed, Nora Graver said Eston was going to a party with one of his best friends, a 17-year-old, was also shot that night. The teen is recovering from his wounds.

His arrest reports states Rivera-Amoros was stopped by detectives in the 600 block of Douglas Park around 1:15 a.m. When police stopped him, the report says Rivera-Amoros dropped several pills which detectives recovered.

Rivera-Amoros was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections on charges of murder, attempted murder and two counts of robbery for the shooting of Graver and the wounding of the 17-year-old. He is also trafficking in a controlled substance and tampering with evidence for the drugs. He is expected to be arraigned Saturday morning.
