CLARKSON, KY (WAVE) - An 84-year-old Clarkson man has been charged with murder and assault after Kentucky State Police say he shot and killed a woman.
According to KSP, just after 8 p.m. Thursday an argument broke out between Alva Gussler and Laura Ford at Gussler's home of on Tara Lane. Troopers say Gussler, who shared the home with Ford and his son, Michael Gussler, shot Ford in the chest.
Ford, 59, was pronounced dead at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center. Michael Gussler, 48, was also wounded in the shooting. He was treated at Twin Lakes for a gunshot wound to the arm that is considered non-life threatening.
Alva Gussler is being held at the Grayson County Detention Center pending arraignment.
