LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A man was shot and killed two days before the new year. Friday police said they have one of his killers behind bars.

Yasmani Rivera-Amoros, 20, is charged with two counts of robbery, murder and attempted murder for shooting Eston Graver, 21, and his 17-year-old friend on December 29, 2012.

That 17-year-old is still recovering in the hospital. He said today he's happy to hear there's been an arrest.

Police said Rivera-Amoros led Graver and his friend to the upstairs of Kingston Avenue apartment when another person entered the building and assaulted the men. They demanded money and keys to Graver's car. When Graver wouldn't give either up both were shot. Graver died and Rivera-Amoros and his accomplice left in his car with the friends money and cell phones.

Graver's family did not want to speak until the second person is in custody, but it was just a few days ago his mother Nora Graver was saying how confident she was that there would be an arrest. "You will be caught. Trust me. My son will not be an unknown person without an unsolved murder. This murder will be solved. Trust me. As God as my witness, it will be solved."

The search is still on for the shooter. Eston Graver will be buried Saturday. His friend is too ill to leave the hospital to attend.
