Boil water advisory lifted for portions of Floyd, Harrison Counties

GEORGETOWN, IN (WAVE) – A boil water advisory has been lifted in Floyd and Harrison Counties.

According to the Edwardsville Water Corporation's website, the advisory was lifted on January 7 at 10:30 a.m.

The advisory was issued on January 4 after a water main break on Corydon Ridge Road.

The areas under the advisory were, all of Corydon Ridge Road west of Oak Ridge Drive, Lazy Creek Road, West Oak Court, Oak Ridge Drive, Brookside Drive, Country Lane, Hillside Drive, Oaks Subdivision Section 5, Oaks West Subdivision, Crandall-Lanesville Road, Ponderosa Road, Ferree Road, Walters Road, Raccoon Creek, Woods Drive, John Cook Lane, Green Roe and Baylor Wismann.

Customers may resume normal water consumption.
