Deadly accident on S. 7th Street Road

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - One woman is dead after a single car crash on S. 7th Street Road that happened about 8 a.m. Saturday.

LMPD Officer Carey Klain said two women were traveling south in a Chrysler Sebring on 7th Street Road when they hit a parked car. One woman died at the scene. The other woman was taken to University Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Klain said speed may have been a factor in the accident.
