(San Antonio, Texas) Mike Hartnett
James Quick, one of the most sought-after college football recruits in the nation, chose the University of Louisville over Ohio State during today's U.S. Army All-American Bowl played in San Antonio, Texas.
The Trinity High School wide receiver caught a touchdown pass late in the Army Bowl to help his East squad defeat the West stars, 14 to 8. Quick, who caught three passes during the game, was named the Army Bowl M.V.P.. The winning team was coached by Quick's high school coach, Bob Beatty.
Quick said one of the main reasons he selected the Sugar Bowl champion Cardinals was because his family could easily attend all of his games.
