Highlands restaurant closes its doors

The restaurant closed on Friday.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A local hot spot for lunch in the Highlands has closed its doors.

Joe Davola's, located off Barret Avenue, announced on their facebook page they will no longer be open.

Their last day of business was on Friday. Everything in the restaurant has been cleared out.

The restaurant was known for local ingredients and quirky names for their soups, salads and sandwiches.
