Men charged in 23 robberies appear in court

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Two men charged in nearly two dozen robberies made their first appearance in court.

Troy Gaines Junior and Shaundrell Robinson are both charged in 23 robberies.

Police caught the men early Saturday after they said an officer saw them robbing a gas station on Preston Highway.

Investigators said the robberies the two have committed date back to November.

Gaines and Robinson are also suspects in robberies in Radcliff, Kentucky and Jeffersonville, Indiana.
