CLARK COUNTY, IN (WAVE) - The woman police said cut off her home arrest anklet to avoid being sentenced for molesting a young boy is back in police custody.

Juanita Fisher appeared in court Monday afternoon.

According to Major Jason Broady, assistant chief of the Charlestown Police Department, Juanita Lanae Fisher was arrested in August 2011 on several charges, including child molestation, and had been on home incarceration since her release from the Clark County Jail in January 2012.

Broady said Charlestown Police at 9 a.m. on January 4, the day she was supposed to be sentenced, they got a call from Fisher's roommate saying she had cut off her home incarceration bracelet, stolen a credit card from the roommate and fled.

Fisher turned herself in Sunday night.

She was previously offered a plea deal on charges she molested a young boy, but now that deal is off the table.

Fisher is scheduled to appear for trial in February.
