The restaurant was robbed just before 1 a.m. Monday.
GEORGETOWN, KY (WAVE) - A masked man robbed the manager of a Georgetown, Kentucky fast food chain at gunpoint.
According to police, just before 1 a.m. Monday the closing manager of the Dairy Queen heard a knock at the door. The manager, thinking the person at the door was a co-worker or friend, opened the door only come face to face with an armed, masked man.
Police said the suspect forced his way in and demanded cash.
The gunman struck the manager and put him in a choke hold before getting his money and taking off.
No arrests have been made in the case. Anyone with information is asked to call Georgetown police at (502) 867-6992
