Victim in fatal fiery wreck identified

The deadly crash happened on South Park Road.

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The name of a man killed in a fiery wreck over the weekend has been released.

The crash happened Sunday shortly before 6 a.m. underneath the 841-Gene Snyder Freeway overpass on South Park Drive.

Police said the driver of the Ford pickup truck, David Torrance, 19, of Louisville, lost control and hit a concrete pillar.

The truck was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.

Torrance died at the scene. The crash is still under investigation.
