Groom murdered day before wedding

SALYERSVILLE, KY (WAVE) - An eastern Kentucky man is facing murder charges after police said he killed a groom.

Daniel Hackworth was arrested Monday after Donnie Allen, 49, was found dead outside his home in Magoffin County.

According to police, a fight broke out between Hackworth and Allen, then shots were fired.

Sources said the Allen was set to be married on Tuesday.
