SOUTH BEND, IN (WAVE) - Notre Dame doesn't have much to celebrate this week after getting drubbed in the BCS National
Championship game Monday night, which gives them all the more reason to do something for those
in need.
The school's basketball team
is stepping up to auction game worn jerseys, tickets and other items to help
raise money for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.
The auction will be held online
through January 17and you several people will want to bid on the black uniforms
the Irish wore when they beat Kentucky on November 29, 2012.
Proceeds from the auction will
be presented to New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.
