Indiana man wins lottery

JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - A Jeffersonville couple has a reason to celebrate.

Jason Derlein, of Jeffersonville, won $100,000 with a Hoosier lottery scratch off ticket.

He bought the ticket at the Circle K on Eastern Boulevard in Clarksville.

Derlein said when he called his wife to tell her the good news she told him, "Stop messing around, I don't have time for this, I'm at work."

He said he plans to use his winnings to boost their budget on a new home and start a college fund for their almost 1-year-old daughter.
