Man arrested for loaded gun at Hopkins airport

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

A man was busted with a loaded gun at Hopkins airport.

Police say 56-year-old Robert Thompson of Hubbard, Ohio was arrested Wednesday while trying to pass through the "c" checkpoint.

The gun, a .22 caliber was inside his bag. A tsa agent noticed the weapon on the x-ray machine.

Thompson says he has a concealed carry permit. He was taken to the justice center and charged with carrying concealed weapons.
