ELIZABETHTOWN, KY (WAVE) - Two Hardin County parents have been arrested on charges of not getting medical treatment for their 18-month old daughter.

Officers were called to a home on Plum Creek Court in Elizabethtown after getting a report of a marijuana smell coming from the home. Inside the house, officers found marijuana and arrested Terry Adams, 24, and Christina Morgan, 19.

While in the home, officers noticed the couple's daughter had serious injuries to her arm. Adams and Morgan claimed the girl's arm was injured while they were playing with her.

The toddler was brought to Kosair Children's Hospital for treatment.

Adams and Morgan were booked into the Hardin County Detention Center on charges of wanton endangerment, endangering the welfare of a minor and possession of marijuana.
