Alleged robbers shot at Good Samaritan

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Good Samaritan helped catch a couple of suspected robbers, but he was nearly shot in the process.

Police said the suspects robbed a Speedway on Cane Run Road late Tuesday night. A witness saw what was happening and followed the suspects' getaway car while calling police.

The suspects noticed the Good Samaritan following them and they fired several shots, almost hitting the him and his girlfriend.

Eventually, police tracked Takayla Love, Tyler Garrison and Darnell Moore to a nearby apartment complex.

All three are facing robbery charges.
