OWENSBORO, KY (WAVE) - A minister returned home from a trip to Louisville to find her church had been broken into.
Owensboro police arrested James Brown and Donald Brown, who they said broke into the Unitarian Universalist Church.
Minister Claudia Raymisch learned of the break-in when she returned home and found a message on her answering machine from police.
Raymisch explained the thieves couldn't have stolen much, "This is really ironic because we literally had $13on the property. It's really ironic that somebody would try to rob us when we have so little."
Owensboro police said there have been seven churches broken into over the last month. They are investigating if the break-ins are connected.
