Man accused of raping girlfriend's 9-year-old daughter

BEDFORD, KY (WAVE) - An Indiana man is accused of raping his live-in girlfriend's nine-year-old daughter.

Aaron Hoeferkamp, 25, of North Vernon was arrested by Kentucky State Police detectives Friday at the Trimble County Courthouse.

Investigators said Hoeferkamp raped the girl on January 2 after her mother left their home in Bedford, KY.

Hoeferkamp was lodged at the Carroll County Detention Center.
