LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Two people are being treated wound after a shooting early Saturday at a nightclub.
A MetroSafe supervisor tells WAVE 3 that Louisville Metro Police were sent to The View in the 1000 block of Story Avenue around 5 a.m. on a report of a shooting. Dwight Mitchell, a LMPD spokesperson, said a fight took place before the shots were fired.
Mitchell said the wounded, a man and a woman, were both taken to University Hospital and appear to have non-life threatening injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation, but Mitchell said they did not have a description of the shooter. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the LMPD Crime Tip Line at 574-LMPD (5673). All calls to the Crime Tip Line are anonymous.
