High water closes roads in several KY counties

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Heavy rain shut down several roads in Kentuckiana on Sunday.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported the following closures:

Breckinridge County: KY 261 between mile markers 15 and 16
Breckinridge County: KY 2779 between mile markers 3 and 4
LaRue County: KY 583 between mile markers 1 and 2
Meade County: KY 823 between mile markers 0 and 1
Taylor County: KY 3211 between mile markers 4 and 5

In addition, MetroSafe reported numerous flooded roadways in the Louisville Metro. A dispatcher said the water quickly receded.
