JEFFERSONVILLE, IN (WAVE) - Jurors deciding the fate of a Jeffersonville man charged with stabbing his wife to death continued to hear from police who investigated the case on Monday.

Dale Bagshaw was arrested in November 2011 after police said he tabbed his estranged wife 56 times.

Other witnesses testified Kelly Bagshaw went to his apartment off 10th Street in Jeffersonville to pick up heir kids. Instead the two got in a fight in the parking lot and she was killed.

Jurors are expected to watch Dale Bagshaw's interview with police where he confesses to the crime before prosecutors rest their case.

Bagshaw's attorney argues Bagshaw killed his wife in sudden heat, not intentionally. If convicted of murder he faces 65 years in prison.
