Mother laid to rest after fatal wreck

MEADE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - A young mother killed in a crash in central Kentucky was laid to rest.

The community of Brandenburg came together Monday to remember Sarah Hottell.

She was killed January 10 when her car hit an ambulance after running a stop sign in Flaherty.

Her 10-month-old baby was in the car at the time of the crash and survived.

Two EMT's who were ejected from an ambulance during the wreck are continuing to recover from their serious injuries.
