LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The man accused of opening fire at a homeowners meeting in eastern Jefferson County, killing two people was back in court Monday.
Mahmoud Hindi, 55, is awaiting trial on murder charges.
Hindi is accused of killing Dave Merritt and Marvin Fisher in September at the Spring Creek HOA meeting.
Police said Hindi was fighting with his neighbors over a fence and driveway. He is also now facing assault charges after an incident involving a corrections officer in January 2013.
Hindi's trial is set for March 4.
