Police: Suspect uses stolen credit card info to buy computer

SPRINGDALE, OH (FOX19) -

Police are looking for the suspect who used stolen credit card information to buy a computer.

A report was made by Casandra Lewis after she was notified by the Cincinnati Police Credit Union about an overdraft of her account. Lewis checked and realized she still had her card, and did not know how someone was able to get her information.

According to police, an unknown male was able to access her account and purchase a computer at the Best Buy in Springdale, charging $1,429.99 to her card.

Authorities say Lewis did not recognize the suspect after viewing store surveillance.

Anyone with information about the incident should call Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040. Callers can remain anonymous and may receive a cash reward.
