Police: Woman intentionally set fire to home

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Louisville woman is facing arson charges after allegedly setting another woman's home on fire.

According to Louisville Metro police, Carla Martin, 60, lit fire to a home on Beecher Street knowing a woman was inside.

Fortunately, the woman inside the home made it out safely, but her three pets- a dog and two cats - were killed in the fire.

Investigators said martin had a fight with the victim concerning a man one week ago.

Martin is charged with arson and wanton endangerment.
