Metro man facing counterfeiting charge

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A Louisville man has been charged with making and passing counterfeit bills.

According to an arrest report, Brian Dale Vincent, 33, would take real $1.00 and $5.00 bills, bleach or wash off the legitimate denominations, and print them as $100 bills.

Vincent passed the counterfeit bills at various businesses resulting in losses of nearly $7,000.

In addition to counterfeiting, Vincent, who was arrested January 16 at his home, is charged with possession of a forged document.
