Counterfeit money leads to arrest

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Louisville Metro police said they arrested a man in connection to a sophisticated counterfeit money operation.

Investigators said Brian Vincent would take real $1 and $5 bills and bleach them. Then he would use a computer printer and scanner to make them look like $100 bills.

Police said he used about $7,000 worth of the counterfeit money at businesses across the Metro.
