Retirement community dishes free lunch to public safety workers

CLIFTON, OH (FOX19) -

 

A local retirement community offered a free lunch to those who serve and protect the community.

On Thursday, the Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community invited police officers, firefighters and EMS professionals to enjoy a buffet lunch.

The free event was held at the Scarlet Oaks' historic mansion.

Organizers at the retirement community said they hope to host similar events like this one in the future.

Scarlet Oaks Retirement Community offers skilled care, assisted living and independent living, located at in the gaslight district of Clifton.
