CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -
The trial date was set for the suspect in a cold case murder, after his ex-girlfriend's remains were found buried in a home in 2011.
Richard Kuhn is charged with killing Kimberly Brown sometime between November 14, 2005 and December 31, 2006, and then burying her body in the basement of his East End home at 3229 Riverside Drive.
In September of 2011, resident of the home, Joey Gyarmati, said his uncle, Richard Kuhn, wrote a letter from prison to an ex-girlfriend asking her to move human remains buried at the house. The letter was intercepted by authorities and detectives were brought to the house.
Her remains were found wrapped in plastic, under concrete and floor boards, according to investigators.
In June of 2012, Kuhn was indicted on one count of aggravated murder, one count of murder, one count of tampering with evidence and one count of gross abuse of a corpse. If convicted of all charges, he faces the possibility of life in prison.
On Thursday, Kuhn was again in court, and his trial date was set for May 14th.
