Funerals held for 5 killed in house fire

The four children and their father were killed in the fire.

PIKE COUNTY, KY (WAVE) - Five people killed in an eastern Kentucky house fire were laid to rest.

Billy Wilfong and his four children died the morning of January 9 when a space heater in their home sparked a fire that destroyed the house.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Valley Elementary School in Pike County.

The four children who were killed ranged in age from 5 years to just 6 months old.

The children's mother was seriously injured in the fire, but has since been released from the hospital.
