After today, some nice temperatures move in for the rest of the week

Updated:

A cold front will move through central North Carolina today and behind the front a push of cooler air will move in and stay with us for the rest of the week.

The cold front won't have much moisture associated with it as westerly winds will bring in drier air.  Except for a risk of an early morning shower skies will be partly sunny today.  A spotty storm could pop up in areas along the I-95 corridor.  The Triangle and areas to the north and west should stay dry this afternoon.  As a matter of fact, humidity levels will start to drop this afternoon.  The high will be 91.  Our normal high this time of year is 90.

Tonight skies will become mostly clear and the overnight low will be a comfortable 64.

Behind this cold front, expect pleasant weather.  Tuesday will be mostly to partly sunny with a high of just 83.  Humidity levels will be very low.  Wednesday will be mostly sunny with a high of 84.  It will be a littler warmer, but still below normal on Thursday, with a high of 87 under partly sunny skies.

Friday will have more clouds as it will become mostly cloudy with just a slight risk of a shower or storm.  The highs will stay in check with the clouds around; the high should be around 84.

The upcoming weekend will be a little more unsettled with a shower or storm possible each day with a mixture of clouds and sun.  Highs, however, will stay in the middle 80s!
