CLARK COUNTY, KY (WAVE) – Crews are on the scene of a fatal accident involving a Kentucky State Police trooper.
According to KSP, the crash happened at 7 p.m. Tuesday on Interstate 64 near the 99 mile marker, east of Winchester.
Police were alerted of the accident after calls were made to 911. When they arrived on the scene they discovered the vehicle belonged was KSP Trooper Anson Blake Tribby, 25, of the Morehead post. He was killed in the wreck.
Tribby was off-duty at the time of the accident. His vehicle was the only one at the scene. It is unclear if other vehicles were involved.
