The Trigg County Coroner said the driver involved in a deadly crash in December had traces of alcohol and drugs in his system.
The Kentucky New Era reported police said David Shoaf had been drinking the night before the Dec. 8 crash.
An autopsy found indications of alcohol, marijuana, valium and methamphetamine in Shoaf's blood.
Shoaf was driving a van that crashed into a tractor near Rockcastle Road.
He was killed in the accident.
There were four passengers in the van, three of whom also perished in the crash. The fourth passenger, Brendan Breen, 18, Cadiz, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police said none of the passengers in the van had evidence of drugs or alcohol in their systems.
