It will be cloudy and chilly today, but south winds should help push us into the 30s mainly south of I-64.
There will be a band of snow north and east of us from Indianapolis through Cincinnati that will give those folks headaches today. We will just see the clouds from that.
It will be colder tomorrow as winds return from the north and that will set the stage for Friday's light snow event. The models are still struggling on the details on this one, but this looks like a light event with an inch possible if we can get the moisture into the region. With a cold ground even light amounts could lead to slick spots Friday morning.
The weekend will feature a warm up, but not without first giving us a freezing rain risk Sunday night. Early next week looks warm and the 60s are not a stretch at this point.
Talk about whiplash.
