LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A woman charged with stealing from doctor's offices and hospitals faced a judge.
Lashonda Jefferson pleaded not guilty on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the search continues for six other women police said were involved in the thefts. They are Anjenette Jefferson, April
Jefferson, Donnika Jefferson, Nicole Jefferson, Teyana Locke and
Adrienne Talbot. The women range in age from 21 to 34 years old.
St. Matthews police said the women went to several medical facilities and stole wallets from nurse's purses.
A judge set Jefferson's bond at $5,000. She is due back in court February 4.
