MASON, OH (FOX19) -
The Kings community paid their respects to the only victim of Monday's massive pileup on I-275 in Colerain Twp.
12-year-old Sammy Reagan, a sixth grader at Columbia Elementary, was hit by a cable barrier in the midst of the pileup. A group of bystanders performed CPR on the girl while on the phone with 911, and waited for emergency crews to arrive. She was then taken to the hospital where she later died.
Over 2,000 people attended the visitation for Sammy at Rivers Crossing Community Church, located on Kings Island Drive.
"She was a little fireball, a little source of energy and just really reflected the love of God with everybody she came in contact with," said Pastor Paul Taylor.
Friends from Sammy's dance team also said goodbye to their friend. "When you saw Sammy she had a smile worth a million dollars, and she was always so loving," said Clara.
Funeral services for Sammy Reagan are planned for Friday at Hope Church, located at 4934 Western Row Road in Mason at 3:30 p.m.
