LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A letter revealed more details in the case of a Louisville Metro police officer accused of billing the city of Louisville out of thousands of dollars.

Officer Michael Miller is accused of double billing for time on the job and sometimes not performing his job at all.

A copy of the reprimand letter sent to Miller, from former Interim Police Chief Ishmon Burks, stated Miller did not respond to calls or even perform assigned duties on October 6, 2010.

Prosecutors said Miller worked a side job while telling his bosses at Metro police that he had been called back to military duty. They said he even provided LMPD with forged military orders and got paid for about 200 hours he didn't work.

Miller has pleaded not guilty.
