LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A multi-million dollar renovation is planned for the Oxmoor Center.
According to Oxmoor Center management, the project will start February 1 and will include demolition of the mezzanine, new soft seat areas, the addition of a soft play area near Sears and the renovation of center court.
The Center released a statement listing changes due to the renovation, "In preparation of the renovation, several retailers have
relocated from the mezzanine to the first floor. Stride Rite and Subway
recently closed their mezzanine stores and reopened in the Sears wing. In addition, Modelle's Custom Tailors will
move to the Dick's Sporting Goods wing and Something 2 Do will move to the
Sears wing. Other moves may be
forthcoming and several new retailers and eateries, yet to be named, will be
added."
The project is scheduled to finished in time for the 2013 Christmas shopping season.
