FRANKFORT, KY (WAVE) - The re-opening of Kentucky Kingdom took another step forward.
On Friday, the State Property and Building Commission approved the 50-year lease plan that would allow businessman Ed Hart to develop and re-open the park.
The lease agreement must now be signed.
The plan is to reopen the amusement park in the spring of 2014.
