LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Family and friends are still searching for answers after a Louisville man was murdered on Christmas Day.

The body of Charles Fambrough, 20, was found on Portland Avenue near North 24th Street in the early hours of Christmas morning. His friend, Dante Newsome, was murdered while sitting on the porch near 40th and West Market. Someone has been arrested in Newsome's case, now Fambrough's family is praying for the same results.

Community activist Christopher 2X organized a gathering near the spot where Fambrough was murdered. His family and those who knew him gathered, hoping for answers and pleading for help.

"I want to know why," said Barbara Fambrough, Charles Fambrough's mother. "I want to know who done it, I just miss him so much."

Fambrough's girlfriend, Megan Brown, said the family needs closure.

"None of us are going to be the same, none of the family," said Brown. "None of us see brighter days, I want to know who did this."
