LAWRENCEBURG, KY (WAVE) - A teenager was taken into custody after he was accused of threatening to kill a student and carry out another "Columbine" act at the high school.
According to police, James Tindal Jr., 19, was arrested for terroristic threatening and harassing a student.
A warrant for Tindal's arrest went into detail stating Tindal said he was "going to choke the life out of her and watch her last breath leave her body through his hands." and then "would go to the school and have another (*expletive) Columbine."
The arrest alarmed several parents.
"It just makes you worried of whether or not to send your kid to school," Parent Kim Coyle said, "I believe for her to be safe because that's what we all want to believe in our hearts, that they're safe at school."
Police believe Tindal's actions were an isolated incident and said both the elementary and high schools have added security.
