Algonquin neighborhood home damaged in afternoon fire

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The cause of an afternoon fire at a home in the Algonquin neighborhood is under investigation.

Louisville firefighters were called to the home in the 700 block of Colorado Avenue around 2:30 p.m.

A witness saw the fire and beat on the door to warn those inside. Fortunately, no one was home.
