Help Needed To Repair Blind Woman's Home

(LOUISVILLE, July 26th, 2004, 11:55 a.m.) -- WAVE 3 is asking for your help to turn a blind woman's nightmare home into a dream come true. Lois June Jackson bought what she thought was her dream home, but it turned out to be in terrible condition.

After the WAVE 3 Troubleshooter aired her story, the community has rallied to give Jackson a total home makeover.

Although many people have already donated, some materials are still needed. The contractor needs vinyl siding, carpet, materials for foundation, gravel to fill up the cellar, light fixtures, and appliances.

If you can help out with any of these materials, send an email to

Also, about $15,000 is still needed to make the project happen. If you want to donate money, you can do so at any local Republic Bank.
