Guilty plea in van abduction hoax

BARDSTOWN, KY (WAVE) - A woman who claimed she was almost abducted by a man in a white van has pled guilty to falsely reporting a false incident.

Lechia Lewis was sentenced to 30 days in jail and credited with time served.

Investigators say Lewis claimed she was nearly abducted by a man in a white van, but surveillance video did not match her story.
