Suspect charged in McDonald's burglary

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - A Jefferson County, Indiana man has been arrested after police say was involved in a burglary at the Madison McDonalds.

The suspect, Zachary Shaffer, 20, is an employee of the restaurant.

Madison Police say Shaffer tried to steal the restaurant's safe, but it was too heavy so he left it outside near a dumpster.
