Roads were treacherous across Kentuckiana on Saturday.
The boat was scratched and dented in the accident.
A snow plow passed an accident scene.
A crane was used to lift a boat that was involved in a semi accident.
No one was injured.
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Dozens of drivers couldn't keep all four wheels on the road throughout Saturday morning and afternoon because of slick conditions.
Louisville Metro Police did not respond to non-injury accidents because so many collisions and slide-offs were reported. "A lot of them are single vehicle slide-offs," said Officer Bill Salyers. "We're dealing with tons of different accidents, many of them on the interstate."
Salt and decreased speed didn't prevent spin-outs, fender benders and trucks losing their loads. On southbound Interstate 71, paramedics rushed a driver to University Hospital after he complained of back and neck pain. Only the driver's car and guardrail sustained damage.
Just as police responded to one 911 call, another came in. No one was seriously hurt in any of the crashes.
A large boat nearly slipped off a trailer near Exit 2 on I-65 north. The truck and trailer jackknifed when the driver lost control, according to Indiana State Police.
"The roads are unbelievably slick and dangerous. We've been working a lot of accidents," Officer Salyers said.
Most of Kentuckiana is under a Winter Weather Advisory until Sunday morning.
